# Carosill A Mac media player for the App Store that plays every file you give it. Status: soon URL: https://waltspence.com/projects/carosill Carosill plays local and network video and music on the Mac, with the tools people usually install VLC for: audio and subtitle tracks, loops, markers, frame stepping, speed, picture in picture and AirPlay. Whatever macOS can’t play on its own, like MKV, WebM and AVI, goes to a bundled open-source engine, still inside the App Sandbox. On top of that: Time Saver trims silences and evens out the pace of spoken audio, and transcripts and captions are made on the device, not in the cloud. It is headed for the Mac App Store and has not been released yet. ## Changelog
